Hey Neighbors! My family moved to Hidden Harbor from Wisconsin in 2021 and we are loving it here! I am so excited to help coach the elementary slackers. I am a developmental educator and artist and love working with kids. My husband, Ryan and I have three children, a dog, cat and a bearded dragon! When we aren’t at the pool you’ll find us reading books, hiking in the woods, playing board games and hanging out with our friends!
Born on a mountain top, raised in a cave. Swimming with the Slackers is all I crave.
I was born in Chattanooga TN. In a hospital. I graduated from Hixson High School. I received my Bachelor’s from UTC and earned my MBA from Bryan College. I am a Commercial Lender at Tennessee Valley FCU.I've worked at TVFCU for 18 years. Outside of work I'm usually attending my kid’s sporting events, boating on the lake, fly fishing, or working out. My favorite foods are coffee, hamburgers, and fancy ramen. I have a husky named Juno and an Australian Shepherd named Roxy!
My name is Annelyse McKenna. I have been a proud slacker since 2014. I swam on the team for 9 years, and have been helping coach for the past 3 seasons. I have a strong passion for this team and encourage every swimmer to uphold what it means to be a Hidden Harbor Slacker. As a coach, I strive to create a positive and supportive place for all our swimmers and to build camaraderie, strengthen one another, and improve their swimming skills.
My name is Amanda Bean. I am a mom of 2 sackers, and a proud coach of our Middle and High Schoolers. I have been a USA swimming official for 8 years, and served as the coach of the Silverdale Seahawks middle and high school swim team for 2 years. As a coach I strive to help swimmers fine tune their swim technique, gain speed, and most importantly have fun!
Hey there! I'm Coach Caroline, and I've been working with our awesome 6 & unders for eight years. Teaching these little swimmers is the best part of my summer- it's such a joy helping them go from nervous splashers to comfortable and confident swimmers. My favorite part is seeing them leave the pool with a big smile, a proud heart, and just the right amount of tired.
I am a coach, a lifeguard, a competitive powerlifter, a former competitive swimmer, and I teach swim lessons as well. I am currently a student at MTSU studying Speech Language Pathology. I love teaching kids, and I strive to make every learning experience fun. I help coach all of our age groups, and I am often in the water with our swimmers helping with technique, stroke work, or teaching some newer swimmers how to swim. I have one fur baby named Tofurkey, Tofu for short.
